Foot and ankle treatments

Our foot and ankle orthopedic surgeons provide comprehensive foot and ankle care. We offer basic care for sprains, strains and basic bone conditions. In addition, we offer our advanced technology and board-certified specialists ready to treat complex conditions.

Nonsurgical care

Our foot and ankle specialists use noninvasive methods as the first option for treatment.

Surgical foot care

We offer several foot and ankle surgery options and make sure you have access to the resources needed for a positive outcome.

Ankle replacements

Ankle replacement is one of many minimally invasive procedures. In this procedure, your orthopedic surgeon removes damaged segments of the shinbone and talus, the knobby bone that extends outward on either side of the foot. Then, they replace the damaged segments with a new metal, plastic or ceramic surface or prosthetic implants.

After your surgery, our physical therapy and rehab teams will oversee your inpatient recovery and coordinate ongoing care if needed after your discharge. The artificial joint will help you move freely without pain.

Minimally invasive bunion removal

A bunion is a bony lump at the base of the big toe that also impacts the toe joints, and it is a common foot complaint we see. Our foot and ankle surgeons are able to treat this painful condition with minimally invasive surgery. Working through one or more tiny incisions, we reposition the big toe joint with screws or pins to keep it aligned. Also, we repair the surrounding ligaments and tendons to ensure proper and effective foot function going forward.

Compared to traditional bunion surgery, this approach allows you to heal in two to four weeks. This means you can get up and moving — bunion-free — quicker than ever before.

Other foot and ankle procedures we offer

We also provide many other surgeries for a variety of conditions. Some of these procedures include:

  • Achilles tendon repair
  • Ankle fusion
  • Bone biopsy
  • Cheilectomy
  • Planter fasciitis surgery
  • Tibialis posterior dysfunction surgery
  • Toe amputation
