Important links

Our leadership has outlined several links that you should have handy, including:

Medical library

The medical library is located on the first floor of the main hospital entrance, down the hall past the main tower elevators, near the physicians' lounge and across from Medical Records (HIM). The library is open from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Accessing the library is possible outside of regular business hours via the magnetic card entry (accessed with your physician ID/access badge), or security can let you in.

The library is open to anyone on staff, and we have 110 print journals, as well as access to several hundred electronic journals through a variety of vendors. The library has six computers, two with Meditech access, two with electronic journal access, one with UpToDate, one wireless, one Qwest DSL dial-up system, with a combination of internet and intranet access. WiFi is also available in the library via the Swedish Wireless Network. If you would like to reach a librarian, please contact the Dorsey Library at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center from 8:00am to 4:00pm at (303) 839-6670. You may also contact the Dorsey Medical Library if you have literature needs.

The hospital publishes weekly news, along with certificate of eligibility (CE)-eligible journal articles, through MedNews Plus. This medical staff update contains information about upcoming events and important news from around the hospital.

Physician lounge

Lunch is served every day from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the main physician lounge, located on the first floor or the hospital. Computers are located in the lounge, so you can obtain a listing of your patients, as well as information regarding educational conferences and medical staff meetings.

Physician Services contacts

We want to be accessible to you for whatever questions or concerns you may have. In addition to our medical executive committee, which seeks to use your feedback to lobby for change and enact policies that improve patient care, we also have a full team of Physician Services leadership who you may contact when a need arises, including:

Timeliness of medical records

You are notified in writing regarding any medical records which need completion. Please alert your office to the importance of these notifications. Records are filed in numerical order, so call (303) 788-6074 to ask that your records be made ready for your completion.

Wellness center

A membership-based wellness center is located in the third-floor tunnel. The center offers a convenient location to work out and participate in exercise classes, as well as challenges and massage therapy. Call (303) 788-6837 to find out the massage schedule and make an appointment.
