Description
Join our Certified Lactation Consultants and other nursing moms/parents for our free in-person breastfeeding support group. This scheduled group is ideal for babies two to ten weeks of age. If your baby is younger than two weeks of age, please call our Lactation Consultants for a private, out-patient consultation at 720-225-2233. The breastfeeding support group is an open forum to answer your basic questions.
We want to help you, and your baby become a successful breastfeeding team. Pre- and post-weights of babies will be performed. We provide latch checks as needed. Please plan to feed your baby during class.
To accommodate all nursing parents, sign up to reserve a seat. If your needs are more complex, you may be referred to our outpatient lactation clinic.

This support group will be held in the 2nd floor Postpartum unit at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge located at 10101 RidgeGate Pkwy., Lone Tree, CO 80124.
When you arrive, come to the main entrance and park in either of the parking lots. The main entrance is facing West toward the mountains. After entering, use the elevators to go up one floor (#2). You will arrive in the Postpartum waiting room. Please wait there as the lactation consultant will greet you a few minutes before the group starts. If you arrive after group starts, please push the entry button as this is a locked unit. One of the nurses will show you the room to go to. No adult males are allowed in the group.
In case of inclement weather, we follow the Douglas County School District closures. If school/buildings are closed, then support group will be cancelled. Support Group will not be held on major holidays. If you are unsure if this support group is useful for you, please leave a message with our lactation department at 720-225-2233 for further assistance.
