“I’d say throughout the Denver metro area and really probably all of Colorado, since there’s so many fires burning, every emergency department in the state is seeing a slight uptick in respiratory related complaints, particularly with those populations that have underlying lung disease or are at risk,” said Dr. Brent Levy, an emergency medicine physician at HCA HealthONE Rose Medical Center.
