Our women's care services

Our experienced women's health specialists provide comprehensive services that include obstetrics and gynecology, as well as breast care and mental health support.

Breast care

Our network of hospitals, imaging locations and breast health centers offer mammography and a variety of services to detect cancer. Among these facilities, we offer a variety of breast health services to detect cancer and other breast abnormalities in their earliest (and often most treatable) stages.

Our breast care teams include accredited mammography technicians and sonographers, radiologists trained in breast imaging, nurse navigators and breast surgeons. These specialists work together to ensure you receive thorough care, including:

  • Breast biopsy
  • Breast cyst aspiration and abscess drainage
  • Breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Breast ultrasounds
  • Lymph node biopsy
  • Mammograms
  • Sentinel lymph node analysis

If breast cancer is detected, Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at HealthONE provides advanced treatments. Our specialists will work with you to determine which breast cancer treatment is the best option to get you on the path to recovery.

Gynecology

We know you are not just looking for a gynecologist — you are looking for a lifetime partner in your health. Our goal is for you to find a doctor or provider you believe in so you can know you are in good hands when you need gynecological care.

Our physicians and staff are dedicated to delivering superior care, including performing annual exams and treating all forms of gynecologic cancer. No matter what your age or needs are, our women's wellness teams will work with you to keep you healthy.

Gynecological surgery

When you need gynecological surgery, our hospitals offer inpatient and outpatient surgeries. They use advanced technology and minimally invasive techniques, including robot-assisted procedures. These technologies mean smaller incisions, a shorter hospital stay and a faster recovery for you.

Pediatric gynecology

Pediatric gynecology is available at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. Our pediatric gynecologists specialize in helping young women understand the changes in their bodies and learn how to take care of their gynecological health.

Infertility treatment

If you are trying to expand your family but experience delays in conception, we are here for you. Sometimes, getting pregnant takes more time. Other times, there may be a medical condition present that makes conception a challenge. Whatever your situation is, our infertility specialists can help. They will determine if there is a reason for delayed conception, and, if there is, provide an infertility treatment to help you accomplish your goal of getting pregnant.

Mental health services for women

Life can be complicated, including our emotional health. Women face unique challenges and experiences in life, so our mental health and wellness programs meet you where you are. Factors such as societal expectations, discrimination and hormonal balances related to womanhood all impact your emotional state. We offer outpatient behavioral health programs to help you manage anxiety and depression, as well as eating disorders, substance abuse and postpartum mood disorders.

Obstetrics

Our maternity care teams deliver thousands of babies each year across metro Denver. From prenatal care and labor and delivery to postpartum support, you can depend on our obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYNs), midwives, doulas and nurses to provide compassionate, reliable pregnancy care.

Maternal-fetal care

We also provide an extensive maternal-fetal care program. Our maternal-fetal health specialists, also called perinatologists, have special training in high-risk pregnancy care.

We were the first in the area to use a technology that allows doctors to monitor fetal and maternal conditions remotely from their mobile devices in the early stages of labor. It is exactly this kind of commitment to innovative care that ensures our maternity program offerings are designed with prompt, effective care in mind.

Options for all childbirth preferences

We understand you may have a unique birth plan in mind, so we do our best to follow your wishes while keeping you and your baby safe and healthy. As part of that care, we offer midwifery options, doula services and an in-hospital birth center for unmedicated births.
