Description
Offered by Grow Together Education, our childbirth and parent education partner, this course will discuss the advantages of breastfeeding, breast milk basics (production, supply and demand, etc.), good latching techniques, positioning, how to know if baby is eating enough, and how to get off to a good start while avoiding some of the common challenges. This course will also cover pumping and storing breast milk. It is most helpful to take this class in the third trimester of pregnancy; partners are encouraged to attend as this course will also cover ways partners can support mom.
Each registration is for a couple. Only the breastfeeding parent needs to register.

This class will be held in Goodstein Rooms 1 & 2 in the Physician Office Building at HCA HealthONE Rose located at 4500 East 9th Ave., Denver, CO 80220.
The Physician's Office Building is located on the SE corner of 9th Ave and Clermont Ste. The Goodstein Conference Rooms are located in the basement level of the Physician's Office Building. Participants may park in the parking garage free of charge or at the parking meters. Meters are free after 6 pm.

Refund information
Notification of cancellation must be received at least 3 days (not including the class date) before the start date of the class to receive a full refund. If cancellation is requested less than 3 days prior, no refund will be given. (Exceptions can be made due to early delivery of their baby or the birthing parent being in the hospital.) If you must miss class last minute due to unexpected travel, illness or exposure to COVID, we will first try to reschedule you to a different date before considering a refund.
