What does this Measure?
The percentage of eligible heart attack patients who were prescribed aspirin when they were released from the hospital.
Why is the Important?
Research shows that aspirin can improve survival rates of heart attack patients who continue to take it as prescribed by their doctor after they are release from the hospital.
