Denver Bike Sharing, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit and owner and operator of Denver B-cycle, has partnered with HealthONE to respond to our mutual concerns about the health and well-being of residents and visitors to Denver. HealthONE is supporting Denver B-cycle in our efforts to respond to these concerns and help people make positive decisions regarding their transportation, health and environmental impact. Specifically, HealthONE sponsored the Denver B-cycle “Orange Ride” that encouraged Bronco’s fans to ride B-cycle bikes to a home game rather than drive.

HealthONE has also supported Denver B-cycle’s “B-cycle Basics” safety training classes. This two hour class consists of a classroom discussion on the B-Cycle system and its features, local bike-related laws, avoidance of common bike-related incidents, and how to co-exist with cars on the road. These safety trainings help cyclists to ride more safely and result in fewer injuries to cyclists, pedestrians and drivers.

Founded in 2008, Denver Bike Sharing operates a comprehensive, city-wide bike sharing system in Denver, to promote health, quality of life and preservation of the environment. To learn more about the bike sharing program, to purchase a membership or volunteer, please call (303) 825-3325 or visit www.denverbikesharing.org.
